Refund Policy

The practice of dentistry is not an exact science and no one can promise that any dental treatment or procedure will be successful or that any risk or complication or injury will not occur. Outcome of treatment/therapy is based on several factors including but not limited to individual’s biological conditions, pre-and post-therapy care and individual’s compliance of and adherence to the instructions to be necessarily followed during and after the initiation and/or completion of the recommended therapy.

At Smiles.ai we follow a simple 4 Step Refund Policy.

When the treatment/therapy plan is rejected by smiles.ai
When the treatment/therapy plan is rejected by the customer before providing the approval.
Not Eligible

Aligners

If you did not or have not complied with instructions/guidelines or failed to share all records and updates with the smiles.ai partner clinics and have not ensured complete tracking of the plan as advised in the guidelines
If six weeks have elapsed after the conclusion of the Aligner therapy and you have had any therapy or procedure done at any clinic outside smiles.ai partner clinics.
If in the middle of the Aligner therapy you have relocated to another geographical region and if there is no smiles.ai partner clinics in the city/state/country where you relocate, therapy will only be given/available for you in/at the closest smiles.ai partner clinics and you will be liable to bear the costs/charges for external specialist on your own account and cannot claim or be entitled to claim the same from smiles.ai
Like any teeth alignment procedure which is dependent on various factors, alignment of teeth can still change after the smile makeover plan is completed, for which you shall not be eligible for a refund
If any aligner therapy or related procedure is availed/undertaken at any clinic outside smiles.ai partner clinics during the term/tenure of the smile makeover plan
A refund may not be provided if you have blocked your offer with an advance/booking amount. Upon blocking your offer, you agree that you have to pay all the remaining balance as per the agreed terms and conditions. Otherwise, the blocked offer will expire and the amount you paid for blocking the offer will not be refunded; however, it will be able to be adjusted for the new offer price
When the treatment/therapy plan is approved by the customer no refund shall be provided. There will be no refunds if the delivery of aligners, products, or services is delayed due to unforeseen or catastrophic circumstances.
Not Eligible

Implant & Other Clinical services

Any payment received from you that is in addition to the charges of the smile makeover plan for Consultations x-rays, scans, diagnosis etc are not eligible for refund and will be subject/liable to be deducted in addition to the administrative charges from any eligible refund.
The procedure had begun, part of it had been completed, or the prosthesis was fitted or an implant, brackets, or crown had been ordered.
When a client fails to report for treatment on the prescribed intervals, the condition deteriorates or the fit has changed; for example, if the client suffers from dentures, crowns, aligners, etc.
In treatment, the client missed the appointment or failed to report for further treatment like implants or wear retention plates.
In any event where the crown / denture has not been collected by the client and the ‘fit has changed’, due to shifting of teeth, requiring new measurements.
Issues with Aligners
Please note that aligners broken/cracked cannot be returned once delivered however in case of damage in transit after investigating the same we can offer you a replacement.
Issues with Implants
Only after a successful implant if the crown breaks or comes out then the customer shall be entitled for a free of cost crown replacement subject to proper usage and following of as advised guidelines.

Payments done through credit/debit cards, net banking or other loans (EMI)

The refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 7-14 business days of refund and gets approved from our end. It may take 2-3 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

Note: Any Processing Fee/ Tax / any other fee levied by Banking Partners, Credit Card Companies, Mobile Wallets etc are to be solely borne by the Customer.

Cancellation Charges -You understand, agree and confirm that in case of any cancellation on your part, owing to dissatisfaction regarding the services/quality etc, a nominal fee of ₹ 1,000/- will be deducted with regards to the cancellation charges.

Cash transaction

We will initiate a bank transfer against the refund amount against the Bank accounts details shared by you. This process will be completed within 7-14 business days. The refund gets approved from our end and your bank details on email. It will take an additional 2-3 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

Management Rights

In addition to the aforementioned, you acknowledge and agree that management has the sole authority to review any refund request for eligibility based on its own evaluation of all relevant facts, circumstances, and records from the customer. Management also reserves the full and absolute right to approve or reject any refund claims and the sole authority to grant or approve a partial refund, a full refund, or no refund at all as may be appropriate in light of the relevant facts and circumstances on a case-by-case basis. You additionally acknowledge that Bangalore Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes, if any.
